Wild Onions, Chocolate Peppermint , and Traditional Garden Herbs - Way to go Ohio!

In the ground and waiting for the sunshine.

Sylvia's garden now has an herb patch -

it's going to be a delicious summer in Ohio.

BEFORE - nothing but holes

If I asked you what color wild strawberry flowers are, what's your guess?

Bright yellow and the 5 days of rain

is blessing us with wild strawberries!

Is was so miserable with rain and cold I, for 5 days, I was looking for blueprints to build an ark. Unbelievably these little NE Ohio wild strawberries made it through the frost.

A Whole Bunch of Rain Came Our Way Yesterday...

One inch of rain fell in one hour.

That's 25.5 millimeters for my metric friends.

Twinsburg stream photo before a hard rain.
Area behind garden normally looks like this.

Twinsburg stream photo after a hard rain with water spilling over its banks.
After a hard rain for one hour it changes dramatically.

I need one of these or do I need to build an Ark?

Herb Garden in Progress

Going to be a Great Summer with Fresh Herbs

Wild onions, Sage, Chocolate Peppermint to start.

There is a ban on rosemary & cilantro as my mom
can't stand the smell of those great herbs. :-(

No room outside- get an indoor herb garden started!
